Disney!

Greetings from the happiest place on earth! Our Disney vacation has been a blast and there is nothing I love more than seeing my hubby get so excited about going on rides. It's so fun to relive childhood memories, especially when you get to do it with your best friend :)

As predicted, Disney is a diet disaster. We didn't make it to our hotel room until about 11 on Friday night, so our only option was ordering pizza. I gave in because I was ravenous. In an effort to minimize the damage, I ordered thin crust pizza and made my half veggie. Then proceeded to eat 4 pieces.... Needless to say, my tummy, which has not been exposed to gluten in weeks, was not happy. I wish I could say it was better the next day, but turns out, healthy options are few and far between. For breakfast I had a larabar that I packed from home. Lunch was rotisserie chicken with green beans, this was the most "paleo" offering. I removed the skin but definitely ate both the dark and light meat. Chad and I split a chocolate covered s'more and a cookie in the evening, and dinner was very indulgent. We split a bison steak and scallops, he had truffle Mac and cheese while I had butternut squash risotto. Plus we each had the awesome sour dough bread brought to our table. I can't say I'm proud of what I ate yesterday, but I'm choosing to not beat myself up over it. I will say that in the future, I plan on being more diligent about packing snacks so that I have a backup when healthy choices aren't easily accessible.

I'm having so much fun and I'm allowing myself to enjoy, indulge, and just live :) Afterall, I know I'm disciplined enough to get back on track when we get home. Just gotta make it through the next two days!
